Half The State Could Be Without Power After Irma

Florida Power & Light - an energy company that services 5 million accounts and about 10 million people in over 30 counties in the sunshine state - estimate nearly half of it's residents could lose power.

They say they're well prepared to restore infrastructure, but it could take some time - up to a couple weeks in some cases.

The 13,500 workers are already on location in over 20 staging sites and are ready to be deployed.
