The Baltimore Orioles (59-63) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (74-47) 6-5 on Friday night at Tropicana Field. With the win, the Rays saw their winning streak snapped at nine games.
After trading runs in the second and third inning, the Orioles pulled away with two runs in the seventh and eighth innings. Garrett Cleavinger (4-4, 3.75) took the loss out of the bullpen.
