Lightning's Winning Streak Snapped At Five In Colorado

The Colorado Avalanche (8-1-5) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (6-5-2) 3-2 on Tuesday night in Denver to snap the Lightning's winning streak at five games.

Victor Olofsson scored twice for Colorado, who also got what would prove to be the game-winning goal from Ross Colton in the second period. The Lightning got a first period goal from Nikita Kucherov and a third period goal from Bryaden Point in the loss.

The Lightning are next in action when they travel to Las Vegas to play the Golden Knights on Thursday nights. Puck drop between the Lightning and Golden Knights is scheduled for 10:00 PM on Thursday night.
