Gators Fall To #4 Miami

The 4th-ranked Miami Hurricanes (4-0) defeated the Florida Gators (1-3) 26-7 on Saturday night in Miami Gardens.

The Hurricanes defense was dominant, holding the Gators to 141 total yards in this game - Gators quarterback DJ Lagway went 12-for-23 with 61 yards passing. After Jaden Baugh ran in a 7-yard touchdown in the third quarter, the Hurricanes only lead Florida 13-7. It was a close game until late, when Miami scored two touchdowns to pull away for the victory.

The Hurricanes are next in action when they travel to 7th-ranked Florida State on October 4th. The Gators are next in action when they host the 8th-ranked Texas Longhorns in Gainesville on October 4th.
