The Toronto Blue Jays (88-62) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (73-77) 2-1 on Monday evening at Steinbrenner Field.
Yandy Diaz gave the Rays their only offense of the game with a RBI double in the first inning. The Blue Jays tied it with a run in the eighth and won it with a run in the eleventh.
