Rays Beat Twins For Sixth Straight Win

The Tampa Bay Rays (27-26) defeated the Minnesota Twins (29-24) 7-2 on Monday night at Steinbrenner Field. With the win, the Rays are now above .500 and have won six in a row for the first time since June 2023.

Jonathan Aranda hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning to give the Rays the lead. After Carlos Correa hit a two-run homer in the seventh to pull Minnesota within 3-2, Tampa Bay had an answer in the eighth. Jose Caballero hit a two-run double to make it 5-2, before Danny Jansen hit a two-run blast to make it 7-2, which would prove to be the final score.
