President Joe Biden will address the nation from the Oval Office on Wednesday (July 24) night. It is his first on-camera appearance since he announced he would not seek reelection.

"Tomorrow evening at 8 PM ET, I will address the nation from the Oval Office on what lies ahead, and how I will finish the job for the American people," Biden wrote on X.

Biden is expected to discuss his decision to withdraw from the race and outline a plan for the last six months of his presidency.

Biden returned to the White House on Tuesday after spending several days in isolation at his home in Delaware while he recovered from COVID-19. Biden was diagnosed with the virus last week while he was in Las Vegas, Nevada.
