Orlando Magic Fire Head Coach

The Orlando Magic fired head coach Frank Vogel on Thursday, according to a statement from the team.

Vogel had spend two years as head coach, but had turned in a record of 54 wins to 110 losses during his tenure.

The firing was announced by the team one day after the end of the NBA season.

Vogel was let go with effusive praise from the team, which thanked him for his contributions.

Vogel had previously coached for the Indiana Pacers, leading that team to a solid victory run.

It is not yet known what his next job or who the Magic will hire to fill his post.
