Florida Jobless Rate Holds Steady

Florida's unemployment rate is holding steady at 3-point-9 percent.

That's six months in a row that the jobless rate has been at that level.

The Sunshine State added almost 27 thousand new jobs in February.

Business and professional services led the way... followed by construction, health care, and manufacturing.

But it was not a good time to work in the hospitality sector... which lost almost 6 thousand jobs in February.

Florida continues to be a national leader in job creation and the state's unemployment rate is still lower than the national average.
