Court Questions from Gov. Scott

Governor Rick Scott wants answers from the Florida Supreme Court.

Scott's lawyers have filed a public records request for a document two of the justices were examining after last week's oral arguments in a case argued last week.

Scott also says he wants a copy of off-mic comments made by the justices.

"We expect judges to be impartial, we expect them to simply do their job," he said. "We've done a request to see what document were they talking about. What were they talking about, you know? It's incumbent upon everybody to understand what was being discussed."

This case in question challenges Scott's authority to appoint three new Supreme Court Justices on his final day in office.
