Florida saw a record number of tourists in the first six months of this year, racking up 60.7 million visitors.
The figures were announced Tuesday by Gov Rick Scott during a visit to The Florida Aquarium in Tampa.
The estimates, from Visit Florida, indicate that the Sunshine State saw an influx of 53.2 domestic visitors and a combined 7.5 million overseas and Canadian visitors.
In 2016, the tourism development agency says Florida recorded roughly 112 million visitors.
If the first six months of this year are any indication, the state is on pace to beat the 2016 figures and set another all-time record.
