State Board Of Education Asks For Input On School Threat Assessments

The State Board of Education asking school districts for input before voting on a new school safety rule. Vice-Chair Ryan Petty says they want to hear how districts best identify threats and intervene when one is detected. He says they've been working directly with the United States Secret Service to see how they can improve on threat management. The board is set to vote on the rule next month.
