Woman Causes Chaos on Florida Flight, Arrested for Assaulting Officers

Miami, FL - A 24-year-old Texas woman was arrested by police for resisting arrest and assaulting officers after causing a disturbance on a Frontier Airlines flight at Miami International Airport.

Simone Bryna Kim was arrested by the Miami-Dade Police Department at Miami International Airport on Tuesday for causing a disturbance on Frontier Airlines Flight 2426.

According to police, Kim was asked to leave the plane after creating a disturbance.

This led to the police intervening and asking her to leave the aircraft, to which Kim refused, causing all passengers aboard the flight to disembark the plane.

Officers then informed Kim that she was under arrest.

Kim began to resist by pushing, pulling, and tensing up.

During the scuffle, she also drove her fingernails into an officer's elbow, causing scratches.

The situation became more violent as officers escorted Kim down the jet bridge, where she kicked an officer and almost caused him to fall down the stairs.

As three officers attempted to put her in a cruiser, Kim also tried to bite them and kick the officers.

Kim was taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on multiple charges, including two felony charges of battery on a police officer, one felony charge of resisting an officer with violence, three misdemeanor counts of assault on a police officer, and a misdemeanor trespassing charge.
