When kids returned to class in Palm Beach County, their teachers are still be masked up.
The School District has extended its mask mandate for staff and visitors for at least another week.
It was initially expected to expire at the end of the school day last Friday, but will now be evaluated again this Friday.
The mandate was put into effect over two weeks ago, as COVID cases surged amid the Omicron spread.
