Early Voting Turnout Shatters Records On Day #1 In Florida

Florida shatters its record for in-person early voting with at least 350-thousand people weighing in on Day #1. Back in 2016, 291-thousand voters casted ballots on the first day of early voting. Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections Christina White says she's glad voters are so enthusiastic this year and se reminds everyone to remember the new normal rules when heading to the polls. She says 27-thousand voters came to drop off mail-in ballots at the 33 Miami-Dade voting sites that are open, that's compared to 19-thousand total that did that during the primary.
