Scott Bill Would Give States 24-Hours To Post Election Results

Rick Scott has a plan designed to make sure the election doesn't drag on.

Senator Scott yesterday introduced a bill that requires states to report election results within 24 hours after the polls close.

He says we can't wait weeks or months to find out the results of an election.

His bill, the VOTER Act, also calls for uniform standards for mail-in voting to avoid confusion and distrust in the system.
