TAMPA -- A journalist who traveled with President Trump to Tampa last week has tested positie for COVID-19.
The White House correspondents' association says the individual was close to other members of the press during Trump's fundraiser at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair Friday. According to The Hill, the journalist was also in the same room with Governor DeSantis, Senator Rick Scott, and other Florida GOP dignitaries. It's offering testing to other journalists.
The individual is not being named due to privacy concerns.
