It's not exactly the happiest place on Earth, but the site of the gruesome 1989 murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez by their sons has become a tourist attraction. Interest in the Menendez brothers has exploded since a docu-drama about them hit on Netflix, and by the latest effort to get them out of prison early. But the attention has been unwelcome by some of the house's neighbors. Beverly Hills police say they've responded to 18 trespassing and noise complaints around the home.

Today is Halloween and, with just five days until the election, political costumes are front and center. George Torres with Crazy For Costumes in Miami says the most popular mask is Donald Trump. But he's not sure if the buyers are Trump supporters or using the masks in jest. Other popular costumes include prison garb for those making headlines behind bars like P-Diddy and the Menendez brothers.
A Monday Night Football matchup later this season will feature two familiar characters. Bart and Homer Simpson will appear ina live NFL football game. The alternate, animated telecast of the December 9th showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys will feature a fully immersive Simpsons experience conveying the actual on-field action. Homer, aligned with the Cowboys, will be joined on the sidelines by Moe, Barney, Lenny and Carl.
Bart with the Bengals will team with Lisa, Krusty, Milhouse, Ralph and Nelson. The telecast will stream on Disney+ and ESPN+ and on mobile via NFL+.
This is Halloween, but how did it start? The holiday began almost 175-years ago in the United States. That's when Irish immigrants, who fled the potato famine, arrived in this country with their traditions of costumes, pranks and superstitions. The expression "trick-or-treat" started when homeowners gave kids "treats" to avoid Halloween "tricks" that could damage their homes. Trick-or-treating became a tradition after World War Two.
The Grammys will have a new home starting in 2027. The Recording Academy and Disney have agreed to a ten-year deal for the awards show. The Grammys have aired on CBS for more than five decades. Disney will simulcast the Grammys on ABC, Hulu and Disney-Plus. Nominations for the 2025 Grammys will be revealed November 8th with the ceremony set for February 2nd.
