An iconic classic rock band is cashing in. Pink Floyd is selling the rights to their recorded music to Sony Music. The deal is reportedly worth 400-million dollars and also includes name-and-likeness rights. That will allow Sony to sell merchandise, TV shows and movies based on the band. Pink Floyd's catalog, which includes classic albums like "The Wall," "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here," is considered one of the most valuable in music.

McDonald's Boo Buckets are coming back for the Halloween season. The burger chain announced this week that the spooky Happy Meals will return the middle of this month. McDonald's also unveiled new bucket designs for 2024 featuring monster faces. They come in white, orange, green, and blue, along with a sheet of stickers for kids to customize them.
It's now underway in Alaska: Fat Bear Week. The polls are open in the bracket-style competition to crown the chunkiest champion bear at Katmai National Park and Preserve. The competition is on following a brief delay because of--a murder. A female brown bear died in a brutal battle with a male brown bear that was caught on a live webcam at the park on Monday morning. Officials say bear 469 killed contest veteran 402. As for the remaining contestants, folks can go to fat-bear-week-dot-org to cast their vote for the thickest king or queen.

The big day is on the way and the average amount of money people plan to spend on Halloween this year is two-hundred-77 dollars. According to a survey by Nextdoor, 76 dollars of that total is going to candy, and the rest is on decorations and costumes. Most folks expect to start trick-or-treating between six and seven P.M., and most believe that 14 is the age children should stop going door-to-door asking for candy. Eighty-five-percent of neighbors will ensure an adult is present while kids are out and 63-percent say they plan to establish a route to ensure a safe trick-or-treating excursion.

The first trailer is being released for director Clint Eastwood's latest movie. "Juror #2" stars Nicholas Hoult as a family man who's serving on a jury in a big murder trail. He struggles with a dilemma after he realizes that he may have actually committed the murder. The rest of the cast includes Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Chris Messina and Kiefer Sutherland. "Juror #2" hits theaters on November 1st.

Ariana Grande has taken a lie detector test to prove she hasn't had plastic surgery. The star of "Wicked" gave an interview to Vanity Fair this week where she was questioned by co-star Cynthia Erivo while hooked up to a lie detector device. During the interview, Erivo asked Grande if she ever had any "work done" to make herself feel more popular. Grande denied getting a nose job, a chin lift or other procedures, and the lie detector technician later informed her that she had been truthful in her responses. Grande called it the best day of her life, and said to her critics, "Take that, YouTube people."
