A veteran rap star is reaching another milestone in his career. On Tuesday, Billboard confirmed that Eminem has become the first rapper to have an album spend 700 weeks or more on the Billboard 200. Em's 2005 "Curtain Call: The Hits" hit the 700 mark last week It's now the sixth album to reach the milestone after albums by Bob Marley, Journey, Metallica, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Pink Floyd.
Yesterday was "Miami Vice Day" in Miami Beach as the cast, crew and fans celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic show. North Miami City Commissioner Scott Galvin says it put South Florida on the map. Galvin says it changed the way people produced and watched tv shows and had a huge impact on fashion and music. A pop up Miami Vice Museum will be open this weekend featuring Don Johnson's signature car, original costumes, and behind-the-scenes photos.
Flappy Bird will soon be back on your mobile device. The video game became a global sensation when it came out in 2013, only to be shut down a year later. Now, a group of Flappy Bird fans are relaunching the game. "The Flappy Bird Foundation Group" says it has acquired the rights to the game, which will be available next year on Android and iOS. The new Flappy Bird will reportedly introduce new characters like "Peng" the penguin, as well as new game modes and "multiplayer challenges."

A rapper is bestowing his own medal on an Olympic athlete. During Wednesday night's MTV Video Music Awards, Flavor Flav presented Jordan Chiles with a diamond-encrusted bronze clock necklace. The gift came after Chiles was stripped of her bronze medal at the summer Olympics in Paris, following a scoring appeal dispute. Chiles said, "Wow, I don't even know what to say here." and added, "Thank you so much."

The latest band to say they don't want Donald Trump using their songs during his campaign rallies is a fictional one: Spinal Tap. Although Trump never suggested he'd be using their songs, Spinal Tap bassist Derek Smalls issued a warning to the former president. Taking to X, he said--quote--"not a band to be outdone, Spinal Tap is demanding that the Trump campaign refrain from playing "Sex Farm" at their rallies." Trump's campaign has yet to respond.
A Florida man who sold his mansion on Miami's Indian Creek Island for a bargain is suing the realtor. Leo Kryss put his home on the market for 85-million dollars, but wound up selling for 79-million. Kryss is now suing because he says the CEO of the realty company failed to disclose and in fact denied that the buyer was actually the world's second richest man: Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
