Americans are throwing parties for what was once considered a gloomy life event: divorce. It seems American views on both marriage and divorce have become less rigid. According to Pew Research Center More than half of all adults say couples stay in bad marriages too long. 71-percent of adults say that having a job or career you enjoy is important to having a fulfilling life, while only 23-percent say the same of marriage. According to date from Evite, it's mainly women who throw divorce parties. They say divorce parties can signal to others that this is a decision you take pride in, not shame.

Never mind immigrants, we seem to have a wildlife problem on the southern border. A tiger escaped from a zoo in Reynosa, Mexico which is across from the Texas border town of McAllen. The big cat was on the loose for about one week. Then he was spotted bathing in the Rio Grande and feeding on chickens from nearby ranches. Officials said in a statement that they used trap cages to capture him. It did not say how the Bengal Tiger escaped from the Quinta La Fauna zoo, which remains closed.
