Another great voice of rock and roll is gone. Maurice Williams, the lead singer of Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, has died. According to an announcement from the North Carolina Hall of Fame, the singer-songwriter passed away on August 6th. No cause of death was revealed. Williams started his music career by forming his first group, the Royal Charms, in high school. The group eventually became known as Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, who are best known for their 1960 hit song "Stay." Maurice Williams was 86.

Rotten Tomatoes is launching a new badge for fan-favorite films called "Verified Hot". While the existing "Certified Fresh" Tomatometer badge is given to films praised by critics, "Verified Hot" will be given to movies with audience scores of 90-percent or higher. The website is celebrating the first films to receive the badge, including the summer hits "Twisters," "Bad Boys: Ride Or Die" and, of course, "Deadpool & Wolverine."

A theme park in Tennessee will soon have the longest continuous zipline in the United States. It's called the Mega Zip and it will debut at WildSide adventure park in Pigeon Forge next spring. It stretches over a mile long at five-thousand-771 feet with a vertical drop of more than a thousand feet.

Chick-Fil-A is reportedly launching its own streaming platform. The company is said to be working with several production companies to create family-friendly shows, including reality series. Chic-Fil-A is the latest company to break into the entertainment space from outside, joining Lyft, which produced the game show "Lucky Lyft" and Airbnb, which produced a documentary that aired on MTV.

Taylor Swift is opening up about what could have really been a "Cruel Summer."Swift is talking about her three concerts in Vienna, Austria being canceled following a foiled terror plot. In a social media post, the superstar singer-songwriter said she is grateful to the authorities because "thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives." Swift also explained her waiting to speak about the cancellations, saying "I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows." The European leg of Swift's Eras Tour wrapped up this week, and she's set to kick off her next North American performances in October.

A pop superstar is getting into the whiskey business. In a post on Instagram Tuesday, Beyonce unveiled her whiskey brand SirDavis. The American whiskey is crafted in partnership with master distiller Bill Lumsden and Moet Hennessy. The brand's SirDavis name is a nod to her great-grandfather whose first name was Davis while her son's name is Sir. The whiskey is available to order now on Sir-Davis-Dot-Com for about 90-bucks a bottle.
