We've lost a TV legend. Longtime talk show host Phil Donahue has died. His family said he passed away Sunday night after a long illness. Donahue was surrounded by his family, including his wife, Marlo Thomas. He hosted the Phil Donahue Show for 29 seasons starting in 1967 until retiring in 1996. Donahue returned to the airwaves in 2002 to host a show on MSNBC. Donald Trump seems to think he's been endorsed by a certain pop superstar. The former president has shared what appears to be an artificial intelligence generated image of Taylor Swift to falsely claim an endorsement from the singer. In a social media post on Sunday, Trump posted the image of Swift as Uncle Sam that said, "Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump." He captioned the post with "I accept!" Although Taylor Swift endorsed President Biden in the 2020 election, she has not formally endorsed any candidate in this year's race.

First it was the Paris Olympics, now he's going global. Snoop Dogg is taking his cannabis dispensary worldwide, with the opening of his first weed-friendly coffee shop in Amsterdam. In an Instagram video, Snoop Dogg and his official brand S.W.E.D. showed the grand opening of the new business. In the clip, the rapper's son Cordell Broadus called it "the first Snoop Dogg coffee shop in the Netherlands," hinting that it might not be the last. On top of the cannabis products, the S.W.E.D Coffee Shop features memorabilia from Snoop's career, along with quotes from his discography like "it ain't no fun if the homies can't have none."

The band Coldplay is ruling the world, making history with their "Music of the Spheres Tour." According to Billboard, it's now become the highest-grossing rock tour of all time. The Coldplay trek has grossed over 945-million dollars, selling eight-point-eight million tickets since launching in March 2022. The numbers have passed the previous record holder, Elton John, and his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour. Coldplay's tour still has 21 shows left.

A man released from the Montgomery County Jail in Texas on Friday is already back behind bars. Shenandoah police say the man had no sooner got out of jail than he stole a truck from the parking lot. Police stopped the truck on I-45 as the driver headed for Houston. They arrested the man, who told them he stole the truck because he was tired of waiting at the jail and just wanted to go home. He's back in jail and charged with vehicle theft.
