There's one American striking gold at the Paris Olympics who is not one of the athletes. Snoop Dogg has been covering the Olympic Games in France for NBC. According to the Daily Mail, that is earning the rapper 500-thousand-dollars a day, plus expenses. The news comes from venture capitalist Henry MaNamara, who claims he heard it from an NBC executive. A German outlet, Bild, also claimed an NBC employee said that, by the time the Games are over, Snoop will earn up to 15-million dollars. Neither NBC nor Snoop Dogg has confirmed how much he's making at the Olympics.

A famous magician is being sued for trashing and neglecting his Manhattan penthouse. The condo board for The Galleria on East 57th Street claims David Copperfield's actions, or lack of, have lead to two-and-a-half million dollars worth of damage. The suit mentions illegal and ineffective plumbing that caused Copperfield's rooftop pool to burst in 2015, damaging condos 30 floors below--and a valve that failed last year, leading to the flooding of apartments, hallways and elevator shafts. The board alleges the seven-million dollar condo, which has been vacant since Copperfield moved out in 2018, has devolved into a state of dilapidation so severe that the entire building's structural integrity is a concern.
A newly-released New York Police report gives details of Justin Timberlake's drunk driving arrest in the Hamptons in June. Police documents obtained by the Daily Mail say the 43-year-old "Prince of Pop" reeked of alcohol and had bloodshot, glassy eyes when pulled over in Sag Harbor for swerving and blowing through a stop sign. The report shows the rookie cop who arrested Timberlake did everything by the book, conducting multiple field sobriety tests. His handwritten notes say the singer was unable to follow directions, unsteady on his feet and refused to take a breathalyzer test three times. Timberlake's drivers' license has been suspended. The judge has ordered Timberlake to be re-arraigned tomorrow under new, revised paperwork submitted by prosecutors.
