A country music legend is now the holder of an impressive record. George Strait's concert on Saturday night at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas drew a crowd of 110-thousand-905 ticket-buying fans. That's the most tickets sold for any concert in U.S. history. The previous record was set nearly 47-years ago by a 1977 Grateful Dead show in New Jersey.

Police are not lovin' what happened at a McDonald's in Lakeland last Friday. According to officers, customers in the drive-thru on East Memorial Boulevard told 22-year-old employee Chassidy Gardner their order was wrong. That led to an argument, and Gardner threw a drink at the customers. Two customers then threw drinks through the window at Gardner. At that point, police say Gardner got her gun and went outside to confront the customers. As they were trying to leave, Gardner allegedly shot at their car and hit it at least once. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Gardner was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Researchers at Michigan State University have been studying honey bees and they say honey bees can detect lung cancer. A team used a 3D-printed harness to hold live honey bees and attach an electrode to their honey bee brains. The bees were presented with mixtures that replicated the human breath of someone who was healthy and someone with lung cancer. Researchers say the honey bees could distinguish between the different types of breath and detect small concentrations of cancer. Researchers are looking to create a noninvasive test in which patients would breathe into a device that has a sensor based on the honey bee brain.

The bong-smoking Phish fan's ban from the Las Vegas Sphere has been reversed. The fan with a not-quite-safe-for-radio social media handle snuck a bong into the Sphere at a Phish show during the band's residency. The fan got a letter saying that he was not only banned from the Sphere, but from all venues owned by M-S-G. However, a spokesperson for Sphere Entertainment Company says the letter was sent to him "inadvertently." The fan will have to leave his bong at home as the spokesperson stressed that local laws prohibit smoking and brining glassware into venues.
