Nothing goes together quite like comedy--and the pope. Pope Francis is set to meet with a whole host of comedians from around the globe at the Vatican next Friday. Those invited to attend from the U.S. include the likes of Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, Whoopi Goldberg and Conan O'Brian. Over the weekend the Holy See Press Office said the meeting with more than 100 entertainers is meant to "celebrate the beauty of human diversity" and "promises to be a moment of meaningful intercultural dialogue and sharing of joy and hope."

She might be the hardest working woman in show business. Dolly Parton is announcing a new hotel in downtown Nashville. The Songteller Hotel is going up on Third Avenue and Commerce Street. The country queen broke the news shortly after revealing a new Broadway musical based on her life and a new line of wines. Dolly also helped kick CMA Fest off last week.

A now viral TikTok video is showing the reaction of TSA agents at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport when a man tried to board a flight with a carry-on containing ten cans of SPAM. When a TSA agent started pulling the SPAM cans from his carry-on, he told the agent that the cans came "straight from the factory" and included special flavors like teriyaki. The agent performed a test on the cans before letting the man through with his SPAM. The video has been viewed nearly 500-thousand times and has generated more than three-thousand comments.

Bon Jovi recently released their new album, "Forever" but it's unlikely they'll be touring in support of it. That's because Jon Bon Jovi is still recovering from a vocal procedure he underwent in 2022. In a recent conversation with The Guardian, Jon said he's still not ready to perform yet. The singer explained that he's more than capable of singing, but doing that for over two hours a night, four times a week is a work in progress. Job has previously said he's taking part in therapy sessions for his voice with the goal of getting back on the road.

A California man is behind bars on suspicion of directing a YouTube video that features women shooting fireworks at a speeding Lamborghini from a helicopter. Federal prosecutors say Alex Choi posted the video to YouTube last Fourth of July. The video was titled "Destroying a Lamborghini with Fireworks" and was filmed in El Mirage, California, in a remote part of the San Bernardino County desert. Choi has been charged with one count of causing the placement of an explosive or incendiary device on an aircraft.
