There was a new temporary monument in our nation's capitol this week. A giant inflatable stood tall in front of Union Station. It was actually a 20-foot tall IUD. It was placed there on Wednesday by the group Americans for Contraception group. That was ahead of the Right to Contraception Act heading before the U.S. Senate. The group says they put up the giant IUD to help spread the word about what the group calls a need to protect the right to contraception. However, the measure was blocked by Republicans who said the bill is unnecessary because the use of birth control is already protected under Supreme Court precedent.

In a video that quickly went viral among Phish fans, a concert goer is seen smoking out of a bong and he's now been indefinitely banned from the Sphere and other MSG venues. A company official said the Phish fan "knowingly violated the guest code of conduct by visibly smoking inside the venue."

The storm chaser who found it in a farming area about an hour south of Amarillo posted on social media that it's more than seven-inches long. If confirmed, that would be a new state record. The Texas State Climate Extremes Committee is meeting to confirm the size.
