The Boss is taking a break. Bruce Springsteen is postponing several shows during his world tour because of what is being called a "vocal issue." In a statement on social media, Springsteen's team said the singer made the decision this weekend on the advice of his doctor. He plans to reschedule the shows in France, Italy and the Czech Republic at a later date. Springsteen, who is 74, was forced to halt his tour last fall while being treated for a peptic ulcer.

A Massachusetts theater is apologizing over the behavior of actor Richard Dreyfuss at a special screening of Jaws over the weekend. Dreyfuss, who played Matt Hooper in the blockbuster, reportedly ranted about women in film, the MeToo movement and transgender kids, prompting some in the audience at the Cabot Theater to walk out. After the event the Cabot issued a statement of regret over Dreyfus' comments, saying his views do not reflect their beliefs.

A black bear named "Oreo" found his way into a home to eat his namesake snack. The bear broke into the residence in the Southern California foothill community of Monrovia this past weekend. He went straight to the kitchen, grabbed what he wanted, and was caught on video leaving through the back door with the box of cookies in his mouth. The homeowners say Oreo has been going to several properties in the neighborhood, roaming backyards to look for food or to take a dip in swimming pools.

Time to check the holiday weekend box office. And the winner is the fifth film in the Mad Max franchise: "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" "Furiosa" made 32-million-dollars over the four day weekend. "Garfield" took second with just over 31-million-dollars made in its debut. However, this was the worst Memorial Day weekend at the box office in almost three decades, excluding 2020 when theaters were closed due to COVID.

The Tennessee Attorney General's Office is investigating the attempt to foreclose on Graceland. Jonathan Skrmetti says his office is looking into Naussany Investments and Private Lending LLC, which claimed Lisa Marie Presley used Elvis Presley's mansion as collateral for a nearly four-million-dollar loan. The company was moving ahead with a foreclosure sale when a Shelby County judge issued an injunction to postpone the proceedings. Naussany officials now say they withdraw the claim and there was no harm meant.
