An Emmy winning comedy star has died. Joe Flaherty got his start as a writer and performer on the sketch comedy series "SCTV" back in the 70's, in which he starred with John Candy and Martin Short. Flaherty went on to have small, but memorable roles on TV in "Freaks and Geeks," and in the movies: as the Western Union courier in "Back to the Future Two" and as a heckler in "Happy Gilmore." Joe Flaherty was 82.

A Missouri couple is planning to celebrate their marriage during next week's solar eclipse. Nicolette Zangara and her husband Paul got married during the pandemic, but weren't able to have their families there. So on the day of the total solar eclipse, they'll have a ceremony celebrating their matrimony in the path of totality. On Monday, anyone in the path will be able to see the moon completely block out the sun.

If your current job isn't all it's cracked up to be then go nuts and become a "Peanutter." Planters wants three people to join its team and drive around the country with Mr. Peanut in a unique NUT-mobile. Yes, the vehicle is shaped like a peanut. Believe it or nut, the year-long commitment will have you being grand marshals of parades, making appearances at public events and doling out nuts to festival goers. This is no nut shell game - the prerequisite to become a Peanutter is to be fun, creative and carefree. A college grad who's chock full of nut-related puns is a plus. The gig starts this June. Apply at Be-A-Peanutter-dot-com. Cashew later!

It's a TV show in a hospital, but it won't die. "Grey's Anatomy" is getting a 21st season. According to Variety, the series' creator Shonda Rhimes said fans' loyalty "propelled" the show into a "historic" renewal. "Grey's Anatomy" debuted in 2005. The show became the longest running primetime medical drama in TV history in 2019.

The other day on Elsewhere, Pete Townshend was telling us about the Who's plans before they--quote--"crawl off to die." Now, Roger Daltrey is addressing his mortality weeks after celebrating his 80th birthday. In a statement to the U.K.s The Times, the Who front-man explained why he stepped down as the curator of the annual Teenage Cancer Trust charity concerts, saying it was because he "has to be realistic" and he's "on his way out." The musician went on to explain that the average life expectancy is 83 and with a bit of luck he'll make that but someone else needs to run things. Despite this, Daltrey is hitting the road for a short run of shows in June.

Bruce Springsteen is once again proving why he's The Boss. At his show in San Francisco on Easter he spotted a young fan holding up a sign that said, "Skipping school, sign my note?" Video taken by another fan captured the moment when Bruce signed the fan's note. The San Francisco concert happened the same night the Boss made a surprise appearance on the second-to-last episode of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." In the episode, Larry David is blamed for giving Bruce COVID-19 and forcing him to cancel the last stop of his farewell tour.
