A pet cat and good timing are being credited with saving a woman's life and salvaging much of her residence after a mobile home fire in Fresno, California on Tuesday. A Fresno Fire spokesperson said the woman had left a stove top burner on, which started a fire. Fans of Knott's Berry Farm brand jelly and jam will no longer be able to find them on store shelves. The J.M. Smucker Company confirmed this week that it has discontinued the Knott's grocery brand line of products. The brand's roots go back a century to when Walter and Cordelia Knott opened a berry stand in Southern California which eventually led to the Knott's Berry Farm theme park being built. J.M. Smucker took ownership of the grocery store brand in 1998 and it no longer had any connection to the theme park. Fans may still be able to find the products on store shelves until supplies run out.
