We're saying farewell to one-half of an iconic comedy team. Tommy Smothers of the legendary Smothers Brothers comedy and music duo has died. His family and the National Comedy Center announced he died Tuesday following a battle with cancer. Tommy's brother Dick Smothers said he is forever grateful to have spent a lifetime together with him. "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour" was famously canceled by CBS in 1969 over the show's tendency to make fun of those in power. Tommy Smothers was 86.

An iconic New York City townhouse is up for sale. That's Macauley Culkin as Kevin McCallister in the original "Home Alone." In "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York," Kevin McCallister outsmarted the "Sticky Bandits" at his uncle's house on the Upper West Side, which has been listed on Zillow. Looks like Kevin's uncle finally finished all those renovations on his home. The home has gotten quite the upgrade since it was featured in the film and now has a wine cellar, built-in snack bar and private garden. Asking price: six-point-seven million dollars.

A moose on the loose in Alaska is back home. According to it's owner Steve Kroschel, the young moose, named Duck Moses, escaped just before hunting season when a contractor was putting an electric fence around his private animal reserve. The moose had been on the loose in the wild for four months before it was coaxed back into the reserve over the weekend. Kroschel called it a "Christman present" when he looked outside his window on Saturday to see Duck Moses standing outside.

Here's a "fun" stat from Google: the most googled dead celebrities. Google has released its Year in Search for 2023, which gives the top five online searches for several categories, including celebrities who died over the past year. Topping the list, the late "Friends" actor Matthew Perry, who died in October at age 54. At number two: rock icon Tina Turner, number three: former TV host Jerry Springer. Rounding out the top five: singers Jimmy Buffet and Sinead O'Connor.

Users of Amazon Prime Video are not happy. The streaming service posted a statement yesterday saying that starting on January 29th, Prime Video movies and TV shows will include limited advertisements. Customers can sign up for an ad-free subscription IF they pay an extra two-99 a month. The post on X received negative responses from Prime users, with many threatening to cancel their service.

Just when you thought we wouldn't have George Santos to kick around anymore...the former New York Congressman is cursing out Mayor Eric Adams after claiming his car was broken into in New York City. The ousted Republican shared a video on X, blasting Adams and dropping the F-bomb a half-dozen times. Santos said his vehicle was one of six that were broken into but didn't say if anything was taken. He called on the mayor to resign, calling him inept and telling prospective residents not to move to New York. Deputy Mayor Fabian Levy responded to Santos on social media, writing--quote--"99-percent sure you broke into the car yourself."
