House Republicans finally have a new Speaker, as they voted unanimously Wednesday for Louisiana congressman Mike Johnson. I was surprised Johnson was able to get the 217 votes needed, but he got 220, as Republicans rallied around this rock solid conservative who got the blessing of former President Trump.
