BUD'S BLOG, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th, 2023

We'll talk about the horrible and heartbreaking story out of Poinciana in Osceola County, where police say a 15 year old driver who didn't even have a learner's permit sped through a stop sign Sunday evening slammed into another vehicle and killed three children and their grandmother, and seriously injured the grandfather. We'll hear from the grieving mother of those kids, and at 8:12, we will talk live with local personal injury attorney Jeff Kaufman about the likely fate of the 15 year old driver. As I write this blog, he has yet to be charged. What might the charges and the penalties be, given his age, and what do you think would be justice in this gut wrenching case?

Just days after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell froze like a statue while speaking in public, a medical report from the Capitol physician on his condition has just been issued. I'll tell you what it says, and then we'll discuss whether you buy what the report says, and whether McConnell needs to either resign from the Senate or least step away from his important position as the Republican leader. At 8:42, Newsradio WFLA White House Correspondent Jon Decker joins us the Washington perspective on McConnell's health and political career.

We'll discuss a new report that claims former First Lady Michelle Obama could defeat Joe Biden and win the Democrat presidential nomination! Whaddaya think? Could she? Let's talk!

Is it time for video cameras in Florida's public school classrooms to monitor student behavior and also keep an eye on what teachers are teaching our kids and grand kids? I'm asking because the issue has been debated before on Good Morning Orlando, and also in the Florida Legislature. In addition, the state of Georgia is now mandating cameras in their public school classrooms.

What if supporters of suspended Orange-Osceola State Attorney Monique Worrell held a rally in downtown Orlando and nobody came? As I'll explain, it looks like that just happened! What does that say about the level of support for getting this soft on crime left winger reinstated? Not much in my view!
