BUD'S BLOG, FRIDAY, AUGUST 25TH 2023
We'll talk about Thursday evening's surrender and arrest of former President Trump at the notorious Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia....and the first-ever mug shot taken of Trump or any other former President in American history. At 8:12 we'll be joined by Newsradio WFLA National Correspondent Matt McClure reporting from Atlanta.
That mug shot shows Trump with the most defiant, menacing stare I've ever seen! How did you react when you saw the Trump mug shot? Were you mad, glad or sad? Let us know during Good morning Orlando by participating in our One Word Texting Poll !

I'll share the results of a poll on the winners and the losers in Wednesday night's Republican primary debate. The poll aligns with my ake on the debate, showing that Governor Ron DeSantis and entreprenuer Vivek Ramaswamy impressed prospective voters more than anyone else on the stage in Milwaukee.

We'll revisit what's now the number one hit song in America, "Rich Men North of Richmond" by previously unknown singer and guitarist Oliver Anthony. Some on the left are blasting the song as being racist and antisemitic, which I think is absolutely wrong and outrageous! Join us, listen to the song and let us knopw what you think!
I'll talk with you about a new report claiming Florida tourism is down, and blaming Governor DeSantis' policies for the drop off in the number of people visiting our state. And I'll defend DeSantis against what I see as demagoging by the Democrats who are out to damage DeSantis politically, as he continues his presidential campaign.

Uh-oh! The National Hurricane Center is talking about the possibility of a hurricane developing in the Gulf of Mexico and threatening Central Florida early next week! We'll close Friday's show by talking live with one of our top flight Accu-Weather meteorologists who will give you the latest on what we could be dealing with just a few days from now.
