The National Football League looks to be more popular and profitable than ever. Forbes reports that, last year, the NFL brought in record revenue of eleven-point-nine-billion dollars. Thanks to television deals, merchandising and licensing each team received 372-million dollars of that record revenue. That's an increase of 25-million dollars from the previous season. The NFL's revenue will see a jump again this year thanks to its new Sunday Ticket deal with YouTube.

The town of Oregon City, Oregon has released the name of its new street sweeper. Kids younger than 17 were allowed to enter suggestions at the Oregon City Library. Early ideas included Sweepy McSweepface, Obi-Wan Cleanobi and Bruce Sweepclean. Names from five finalists were posted on Faceboo. They included “Feeling Sweepy,” “Spiffy,” “Sweepinator” and “Sweepy Head.” But seven-year-old Kennedy Gibb's suggestion was the favorite choice. The streetsweeper will be named "C-SweePO" after the Star Wars character C3PO.

Billy Joel is giving Fall Out Boy a thumbs up on their remake of his song "We Didn't Start the Fire." Joel told BBC Radio Two that everyone has been wondering when there was going to be an updated version, because his song covers people and events from 1949 to 1989. Fall Out Boy's remake features verses covering 1990 to present day. Billy Joel said he never intended to make a sequel, so he says Fall Out Boy can "take it away."
