Let's talk about Florida's property insurance crisis, which has just gotten worse with Tuesday's news that Farmer's Insurance is pulling out of our state, claiming the risk of insuring people in hurricane prone Florida is too great for them to continue doing business here. Governor DeSantis and the Florida Legislature have already taken three shots at trying to deal with this crisis, and I'll tell you why they better try again and find a way to get it right, or else! Skyrocketing insurance premiums are an explosive political issue, and millions of angry homeowners could well translate into millions of votes that wind up costing DeSantis and the Republicans dearly in the 2024 presidential election and beyond!
