Indiana Jones' stay at the top of North America's box offices didn't last very long. "Insidious -- The Red Door" is the new number one film in the U.S. and Canada -- earning nearly 37-million-dollars in its first weekend of release. Coming in second is "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" with 26-and-a-half-million-bucks. That's a sharp drop from its 60-million-dollar opening last weekend. Rounding out the Top Five are "Sound of Freedom" followed by "Elemental" and "Spider-Man -- Across the Spider-Verse."

The voice of Ringo's Starr is going out "across the universe." In celebration of his 83rd birthday on Friday, NASA announced they beamed a recording of the Beatles drummer saying his famous "peace and love" chant into the cosmos. The message was sent out from a California station towards a grouping of five galaxies known as Stephen's Quintet.

It's back to the plow for Elton John--his touring career wrapped up Saturday night in Stockholm. The iconic artist's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour is the highest-grossing tour of all time, spanning nearly five years and 333 concerts. John told fans on Saturday that after 50 years, he'll never tour again but left open the possibility of doing "something in the future," such as one-off shows. He closed his show with a performance of, of course, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."

This is National Ice Cream Month--and, to celebrate, Blue Bell is releasing a new flavor. Monster Cookie Dough Ice Cream features vanilla ice cream laced with brown sugar and loaded with candy-coated chocolate morsels, peanut butter cookie dough pieces, and dark chocolate chunks. The brand new flavor is in stores now in half-gallon and pint sizes. By the way, President Ronald Reagan gave July the title of National Ice Cream Month in 1984, and designated the third Sunday of July National Ice Cream Day. That's next Sunday.
