The man known as The Iron Sheik has died. A statement posted on the WWE Hall of Famer's Twitter account said he "departed this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy that will endure for generations to come." His match with Hulk Hogan at Madison Square Garden in 1984 led to the birth of the Hulkamania phenomenon. The Iron Sheik was known in recent years for his hilarious, profanity-laced outburts on social media. He was 81.

The fourth installment in the "Captain America" film franchise is getting a new name. The movie is now called "Captain America: Brave New World" instead of its previous title "Captain America: New World Order." The film stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka Captain America after the character took over the mantle in the Disney-plus series "The Falcon and the Winter Solider." It also features an actor making his debut in the Marvel Comics Universe: Harrison Ford. "Captain America: Brave New World" hits theaters on May 3rd of next year.
Another music copyright infringement case has been dismissed, for now anyway. It involves the 2020 hit "Levitating" by Dua Lipa and the 2017 track "Live Your Life" by the Florida reggae band Artikal Sound System. On Tuesday, A U.S. District Judge said Artikal Sound System failed to argue that the writers of Dua's song ever had access to their song. However, the judge did give the group an opportunity to file a new complaint. Artikal Sound System are now looking at their next steps.

The question is--is it "Ice Ice's baby?" Vanilla Ice is being sued by his ex-girlfriend who is demanding child support and a DNA test for a five-year-old. RadarOnline reports that Kirra Hentz claims that Ice is the father of her daughter, Priscilla. On top of a DNA test, Hentz is asking the courts to determine custody agreements between the two of them and order Ice to pay child support. Vanilla Ice has yet to respond to her allegations. In other Vanilla Ice news, his biopic is in development--it's called "To The Extreme."

McDonald's is introducing a new meal acknowledging a purple McDonaldland fan favorite. Starting next Monday, the fast-food chain will launch the Grimmace Birthday Meal and Shake. The bundle includes a choice of a Big Mac or ten-piece Chicken McNuggets with medium fries and a purple shake.

The Colorado natives behind the animated series "South Park" are spending a lot of money to live out their dream of reopening a legendary Denver-area restaurant. The New York Times reports that Trey Parker and Matt Stone may have spent more than 40-million dollars on the renovation of Casa Bonita. Stone said they could have constructed a building twice as big for half the price, but said the money went toward restoring the restaurant "like a piece of art."
