Another legal challenge for Donald Trump: The Village People are sending a cease-and-desist letter to the former President over his use of one of their hits from 1978. The Village People sent a letter to Trump's lawyer on Monday regarding a recent performance of "Macho Man" at Mar-a-Lago. The letter claims a cover band that performed the song was also dressed like the Village People, and called it an "unauthorized" use of the group's image and likeness. The letter stipulates that Trump must cease using the group's music and likeness in his presidential campaign or for his personal use.
Last year's biggest movie is heading to a TV screen near you. "Avatar: The Way of Water" will be hitting multiple streaming platforms next month. It will debut on both Disney-Plus and HBO Max on June 7th. James Cameron's sci-fi epic raked in more than two-point-three-billion dollars at the global office. That was enough to make it third highest grossing film ever, trailing only "Avengers: Endgame" and the original "Avatar."

Taco Bell wants to cancel the trademark "Taco Tuesday." The trademark has been owned by rival Taco John's for 34 years. Taco Bell argues the phrase should be freely available to all who make, sell, eat and celebrate tacos. The fast food chain added nobody should have exclusive rights to a common phrase. Taco Bell filed a petition with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and it can take up to two years before a decision is made. Taco John's has 40 days to respond and if the two sides can't reach an agreement, a trial would follow.

With writers still on the picket line, at least one network has come up with a strike-proof fall schedule. ABC is bringing back "Dancing With The Stars" as the network announces a fall lineup will feature no new scripted shows. "Dancing" was on Disney-Plus last fall. Other shows on ABC's schedule that don't require writers are "Celebrity Jeopardy," "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune," "Bachelor in Paradise" and "The Golden Bachelor," featuring a bachelor and a group of women looking for second chances at love in their retirement years.
