Gene Simmons continues to "rock and roll all night," even if he has to do so while seated. During a show in Brazil last week, the Kiss bassist started feeling dizzy and asked a crew member to bring him a chair. The 73-year-old drank some water as the band paused for about five minutes, then they went on to finish the show. Simmons tweeted the next day that it was a moment of dehydration and then "all was well." The band's "End of the Road" tour resumed Sunday in Bogota, Colombia.

A new interactive app reportedly allows mourners to "talk" to the dead. The app is called "HereAfter A-I" and creates digital replicas of the voice and personality of deceased loved ones. Opinions are mixed. Orthodox Catholic philosopher Joe Vukov says having a way to "keep people around who we've lost" is well-intentioned. But he also cautioned that people are more than "just this abstract intelligence." A video of a woman "meeting" a simulation of her deceased mother has gone viral with more than 30-million views on YouTube.

Madonna's "Like a Virgin" is being preserved by the National Recording Registry for its cultural significance. Last week, the Library of Congress announced its 2023 list of recordings to be preserved "for all time" based on their cultural, historical or aesthetic importance. This year's inductees also include '70s classics like Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and John Lennon's "Imagine," and '80s classics like "Flashdance" by Irene Cara, "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by Eurythmics and the 1985 theme to the Super Mario Brothers video game.
