A Florida man is in custody following a bizarre, pre-dawn police response to a burglary report in Volusia County on Friday morning. Department sources say officers were called to a home in DeBary around 2 a.m., arriving to find 34-year-old Blake Tokman - who was reportedly unclothed and coated in grease and peppermint oil. He was trying to flee the scene on foot. Efforts to take Tokman into custody reportedly were hampered by his slick skin. After struggling with at least four officers, he was taken into custody before being charged with two counts of occupied burglary, three counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, two counts of criminal mischief, and resisting arrest with violence. A court date in the case is pending.
