BUD'S BLOG, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH, 2023
Our DeSantis File is chock full to overflowing, and we'll talk about it all ! The Governor's new book comes out today, and while I won't pick up my copy until after Tuesday's show, I'll tell you what I know about "The Courage to be Free-Florida's Blueprint for America's Revival" and why I think this book may be the key to a successful campaign for President in 2024! With that in mind, we'll invite you to vote in our One Word Texting Poll: "Do you think Governor DeSantis will be the 2024 Republican presidential nominee? Text "Yes" or text "No" to 23680.
Also in our DeSantis file, why the Governor has decided to skip this week's CPAC gathering of Conservatives, and how he has just put an end to Disney's corporate kingdom and taken control of the Reedy Creek Improvement District that gave Disney incredible powers no other company in Florida has.

We'll debate whether Florida schools should be equipped with cameras in every classroom and whether every teacher should wear a microphone...all in the interest of security, and cutting down on bad behavior by students. Would these measures work? Are they affordable? And, is this level of surveillance acceptable, or would it be an unacceptable invasion of privacy?
I've been wondering when we would hear from Governor DeSantis on last week's shootings in Pine Hills that took the lives of a TV new reporter, a woman and a 9-year-old girl, and wounded two others. The Governor has weighed in and he's placing blame on the soft on crime policies of local State Attorney Monique Worrell. You'll hear what the Governor said, and you'll hear about his plan for a special school district he wants to create where violent teenagers would be sent and kept away from the public, and hopefully straightened out.
With anti-semitism on the rise in Central Florida, we'll tell you about a battle plan that's emerging to fight it. And we'll debate whether or not the plan will work and stop the ugly rising tide of hatred toward Jewish people in our state.
