McDonalds is introducing new plant-based menu items to consumers in Germany. The fast-food chain announced McPlant Nuggets will be available to German customers beginning next week, as will plant-based cheeseburgers. McDonald's worked with the company Beyond Meat to create plant patties back in 2021, which have already been permanently added to menus in the UK, Ireland, Austria, and the Netherlands. So far, there's no word on if the plant-based products will be brought to the U.S. Meanwhile, rival chain Chick-Fil-A is starting to test a cauliflower version of its famous chicken sandwich.

The Kinks want Twitter to stop flagging The Kinks. Kinks member Dave Davies tweeted directly to Twitter CEO Elon Musk to "please stop putting warnings on everything from The Kinks." He added that they're "just trying to promote their music." Davies says tweets on the band's Twitter account regularly get a warning about "sensitive content" because the word "kinks" keeps getting flagged. While Musk has not yet replied to Davies, Kinks fans have responded with tweets using puns based on The Kinks' music. One tweet said "You really got me with this one" and another said Elon Musk is ruining Twitter "all day and all of the night."
