Star-studded Super Bowl ads were the theme of the big game. Pete Davidson bringing leftovers to life with Hellmann's, Jon Hamm and Brie Larson. Pals Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg team up to promote Skechers' Hands Free Slip Ins shoe. And a Doritos Love Triangle includes Elton John, Jack Harlow and Missy Elliott. Also, Ben Stiller and Steve Martin starred in twin ads for Pepsi Zero Sugar. Will Ferrell teamed up with General Motors and Netflix for a campaign on the car brand's electric vehicles and Amy Schumer erased her exes in Google Pixel's Super Bowl ad. This year, FOX charged seven-million dollars for a 30-second ad.

A marine project on the Massachusetts island of Nantucket has the attention of Weird Al Yankovic. He tweeted "It's a lifelong dream come true" after the town recently named a photobioreactor after him. The device is intended to stimulate production of algae at the Brant Point Shellfish Hatchery. The Nantucket Natural Resources Department asked the public to suggest names for the machine. The winning choice was "Weird Al Plankovic."

U2 returns to the stage later this year for the first time since 2019. The boys from Dublin used a Super Bowl commercial to announce a residency in Las Vegas. U2 will open the brand new MSG Sphere in Las Vegas in the fall. The venue features state of the art sound design and a structure that can be customized by performers for visuals. "U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At The Sphere" will focus on celebrating the band's ZOO TV Tour and "Achtung Baby" album. The band also confirmed that founding member and drummer Larry Mullen Jr. will not take part in the residency as he recovers from surgery.

A Colorado man is fighting with his homeowners association over their demand that he remove an unusual decoration from his lawn. Sean McGarry says he found a toilet sitting in his yard last October. He found out later that his neighbors had placed the toilet there as a joke and he decided to run with the idea. He's decorated it for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and was planning to do so for Valentine's Day. However, he received a notice this week that the HOA wants the toilet flushed for violating community standards. He's refusing to budge and has set up a GoFundMe account for donations to pay any fines leveled against him.
