"Avatar -- The Way of Water" continues to dominate North America's box offices. James Cameron's blockbuster earned nearly 16-million-dollars this weekend at theaters across the U.S. and Canada. "Avatar Two" has made 620-million-dollars domestically and just over two-billion-dollars globally to become the fourth-highest grossing movie of all-time. Coming in second is "Puss in Boots -- The Last Wish" followed by "A Man Called Otto".

The Kansas City Chiefs' celebration may have gotten a little too hot last night. After the Chiefs won the AFC Championship, fire crews battled a large grass fire outside Arrowhead Stadium . An exact cause has yet to be determined, but authorities believe fireworks from the game may have started it. The Kansas City, Missouri Fire Department said crews were able to get the blaze under control quickly.

A seafood company is offering a big reward for anyone who can go under the sea and find a mythical creature. Chicken of the Sea will give someone a million dollars if they submit video evidence and set up an interview with a mermaid. The contest's very specific rules point out that aquatic animals such as manatees, dolphins and sharks are not mermaids. The rules also specify that any other mythical oceanic, lake, river and/or water dwelling creatures like sirens or blue men are not eligible as well. Contestants have until the end of February to submit their entries.

A Motown legend is gone. "Money" was the biggest hit for Barrett Strong as a singer. But it was as a songwriter he really made his mark. Teaming with the great Norman Whitfield, Strong co-wrote "War" by Edwin Starr, "Smiling Faces Sometimes" by the Undisputed Truth and "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" for Marvin Gaye. Strong also wrote many of The Temptations' hits and won a Grammy for "Papa Was a Rolling Stone." Barrett Strong died yesterday in Detroit--Motown--at the age of 81.

Authorities say that, last Friday near Los Angeles, Kanye West approached a woman's car and accused her of following him as she filmed him. The woman reportedly said "But Kanye, you're a celebrity" before he snatched the phone from her hands and threw it into the street. It's unclear whether the woman was a professional photographer or just a citizen taking photos. The woman was not injured. Video of the interaction is being reviewed by investigators.

A delivery by an Uber Eats driver was not exactly an easy layup. Last Wednesday night's Loyola Chicago-Duquesne college basketball game was stopped when a delivery man walked on to the court. The ESPN game broadcast caught the man standing in the corner near the three-point line as he looked around for the person who placed the order. One of the referees whistled for an official timeout as the delivery man was ushered off the court. No word on if the person who placed the order ever got their food. The broadcast later showed the man still walking around the arena trying to make the delivery.
