An update on actor Jeremy Renner: the "Avengers" star says he was trying to stop a snowplow from hitting his nephew when the vehicle ran over him. Police in Nevada said when Renner used the plow on New Year's Day to pull his nephew's truck out of the snow, he exited the vehicle without setting the emergency break. The vehicle then ran over him. Renner suffered 30 broken bones and is undergoing physical therapy.
Previously unseen pictures of the Beatles taken by Paul McCartney will go on display in London. Macca thought the photographs had been lost, but he recently rediscovered them. The pictures were taken between December 1963 and February 1964. The National Portrait Gallery's director said the pictures "provide a uniquely personal perspective on what it was like to be a Beatle at the start of Beatlemania." Fans unable to make it to London will still have the chance to see the rare photos. McCartney plans to publish a book featuring them in June to celebrate his 81st birthday.
New York Congressman George Santos is getting his own bobblehead doll. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame says the embattled Republican will have two versions, a standard one and another with an elongated nose like Pinocchio. The museum says it will donate five-dollars from each sale to dog-related GoFundMe campaigns. This, after a New Jersey veteran claimed Santos stole money from a GoFundMe effort that was supposed to be for his dog's surgery. Meantime, the George Santos bobblehead doll is currently available for pre-sale. It'll cost you 30 bucks.

He's back on the road. And Willie Nelson is throwing himself quite the birthday party. The iconic country singer will perform at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on April 29th and 30th to celebrate his 90th birthday! And he'll have quite the guest list. Snoop Dogg, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, The Chicks and Tom Jones are just a few of the names who will perform with Willie over the two nights. He'll also be joined by some of the biggest names of country music's new wave of artists like Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price and Tyler Childers [[ chill-ders ]]. Tickets for the two-day event go on sale Saturday.
This year's 'Puppy Bowl' is coming to a much wider audience. In it's first year since the Warner Bros and Discovery merger, the highly anticipated puppy football game will run on its usual network, Animal Planet, as well as on the Discovery Channel, TBS, HBO Max and Discovery Plus. And the field is expanded: Puppy Bowl 19 will feature nearly 130 puppies from 67 shelters in 34 states, and as a first will even feature a puppy player from the West Indies. The game begins on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12th, at two p.m. Eastern.
Brigham Young University in Utah is looking to hire students to taste food. The Food Sensory Lab at BYU is asking students to taste different snacks and treats and share their thoughts. Manager Amanda Rees says the lab uses the feedback to adjust recipes or even recreate a competitor's product. Participants get between five and 20-dollars per product tasted.
