The Special Session of the Florida Legislature is over, and we'll tell you everything you need to know about what state lawmakers have agreed to on property insurance reform, disaster relief, and toll relief. We'll tell you what we think, we'll give you plenty of opportunity to tell us what you think, and we'll wrap up Thursday's show with a visit from Lt. Governor Jeanette Nunez, who will give us her take on both the Special Session and Governor DeSantis' call for a grand jury to be convened to investigate any wrongdoing involving COVID-19 vaccines.

As expected, the Federal Reserve has hiked interest rates another one-half point in an effort to fight inflation, which has come down a bit to just over 7.1% year to year. We'll hear President Biden tell us he and his team are winning the inflation fight, but it doesn't feel like it to me when we I shopping or get the check for a meal out at a restaurant. Our Christmas question of the day is: What's your ultimate Christmas holiday destination....some place you'd want to spend Christmas if money were no object? It only took me a second to answer that question. Is Twitter's new owner Elon Musk a hypocrite for his decision to ban UCF student Jack Sweeney from Twitter for his successful effort to track Musk's plane wherever it goes? I think Musk IS a hypocrite, because the kid's not doing anything illegal, and Musk had previously indicated he would not ban him for tracking his plane and showing everyone on Twitter it's location. What do you think?
As I write my daily blog I have no idea what Newsradio WFLA National Correspondent Rory O'Neill is going to say when he joins us live with results of a new survey on what Americans are thinking about inflation, the economy and a host of other issues. So, I'll be getting the scoop right along with you! Should be verrrrry interesting, as it always is when Rory joins us on the "50,000 Watt Front Porch" !
