A rabbit is lucky to be alive after recently hitching a ride in Texas last week. Rabbits, rodents, and cats often climb up under car hoods to keep warm on a cold night and they can be hurt or killed when the driver cranks up the engine. A woman took her SUV in last week for an oil change in the town of Cibolo, just outside of San Antonio. Sure enough, after the technician pulled the vehicle into the bay, he found a live rabbit under the hood. The rabbit and the employees startled each other, then the rabbit hopped out and got away.
