BUD'S BLOG, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30th, 2022

Now that the midterm elections are behind us, a new poll is out with some very interesting findings on how Florida voters are feeling about Governor DeSantis, former President Trump, and the prospect of one of them facing President Biden in 2024! I'll give you the numbers and we'll talk about what they mean.

And we'll also have our own One Word Texting Poll for you to vote on, and here it is:

DO YOU WANT GOVERNOR DESANTIS TO ENTER THE 2024 RACE FOR PRESIDENT? TEXT "YES" OR TEXT "NO" TO 23680.

Twitter's new owner Elon Musk is vowing to release past Twitter files to show how the social media giant has, in fact, had a history of suppressing conservatives and their messages.

I'll tell you why this prospect has the Biden White House really worried and threatening to keep a very close eye on Twitter.

We'll delve into our DeSantis file and spotlight 3 new developments involving our Governor:

Tuesday marked the opening of the trial of liberal Florida State Attorney Andrew Warren. He was suspended by DeSantis in August for threatening not to enforce certain laws he doesn't like, including Florida's 15 week limit on abortions. Warren's in court trying to get his job back. I'm routing for DeSantis to prevail, but I'm not at all sure he will, and I'll tell you why.

You'll hear DeSantis give his take on the big protests inside Communist China.

You'll hear DeSantis defend his Florida Division of Election Crimes and Security, as he cites a couple of compelling examples that show why it's needed even when we haven't seen much in the way of voter fraud in our state.

How bad are things at our local newspaper, the Orlando Sentinel? As I'll explain, the paper is in such bad financial shape, they've published a big article begging their dwindling number of readers to contribute money to keep them afloat. It's a sad commentary on the state of most newspapers in this country as more and more people choose to get their news from other places.

In my opinion, the Sentinel has itself to blame as well, for it's blatantly liberal bias that just turns a lot of folks off who might read the paper if it were more balanced in it's coverage of politics.

My question to you: Can the Orlando Sentinel be saved, and should it be saved...or not? Let's talk!
