A German man who found a hefty check made out to the makers of Gummy Bears is not impressed with his reward. The man was on his way home when he saw a piece of paper fluttering on the ground, and it turned out to be a check from a German supermarket chain to candymaker Haribo, made out for four-point-eight million dollars. He contacted the company, whose lawyer told him to destroy the check, which he did and sent photo proof as the attorney requested. For his honesty, Haribo sent him a gift box with six packs of its candy. The man told a German newspaper he "thought that was a bit cheap."
